Happiness in Everyday Mundane

I always wanted to create my own blog, though wasn't so sure about what I would write. If this year or previous years have taught me anything, it is to just get started. I am slightly less scared to take the first step, because I have witnessed my day 1 in other activities as well. Day 15 is better than day 1, but if I don't show up on day 1 then day 15 or day 145 isn't going to come. I should have paid attention to my blog's name but in a hurry to get it started, I chose "Everyday Mundane". It is the essence of my life these days. Repetition of the same day, everyday. It sounds ordinary and uninteresting but what is interesting is, I actually like my mundane days. My days major moments remains the same but I make it interesting my doing side projects like gifting random strangers flowers, complimenting people, sending thank you notes, sharing smiles and other small yet significant things. I like to observe the silent working of universe. It just feels way too interesting to me when two absolutely random things get connected or my prophecies relating to future becomes true. Thus, comes into the picture my username, "Happy Sisyphus". This sisyphus like the mythological sisyphus has to continue doing the same work everyday, but as Camus interpreted Sisyphus to be happy, I too feel happy with my everyday mundane days. Well this was enough to get started, looking forward to share interesting events of my life in future.
